Recently, I  had the opportunity to collaborate with another local artist to transform a family’s vacation home kitchen from simple to unique. Not wanting to entirely replace their cabinetry, they wanted to transform the existing cabinets into a camp-like space.

We were able to rework their existing cabinetry by adding natural elements and bold colors. Using 1″ diameter limbs from different tree species, we were able to create a custom crown around the entire kitchen – as you can see from the photos, the results were fantastic! All of the doors, drawers, and faceframes were completely overhauled with a rustic, distressed finish.

We even worked in a hand-painted mural and some stained glass with some greens and earth tones to add to the character of this unique kitchen.
